Lockdown life!

We here at quaichshop would like to offer our best wishes to our customers at this challenging time. We are still operating almost normally – some orders can take a little longer to arrive than usual.  Internet shopping brings with it obvious advantages during this period of social distancing.

Quaichs are ideal gifts for occasions like birthdays, christenings and anniversaries, the celebration of which cheers us up and helps to maintain much needed continuity and normality in our lives. However, the need to postpone some of life’s major occasions, in the current situation, brings challenges to friends or relatives who wish to mark these important events.

Right now, the eagerly anticipated wedding will still take place, but on an as yet unknown date.  Some of our customers have been getting around this difficulty by going ahead with ordering their gift in preparation for the special occasion, but not including a date in their chosen engraving.  Instead people are adding a personal message to the recipients.

Birthdays and anniversaries will clearly still be celebrated as we always do, although we are largely restricted to our homes.  Zoom or similar parties have become the norm for many.  It means a great deal to receive a tangible reminder of friends’ and relatives’ love and affection, during our lockdown period of indeterminate length.
