Road Map to Recovery

Since our April blog, the governments in all parts of the UK have issued their route maps through and out of the Coronavirus crisis.  These give an indication of the order in which we will carefully and gradually seek to change current restrictions. They provide practical examples of what people, organisations and businesses can expect to see change over time.  Reading through the phases outlined in the route maps, it’s clear that things are unlikely to change quickly in a positive direction, and life as we know it is not going to return to an approximation of normal for some months.

Quaichshop will continue to operate as near to normally as we possibly can.  However, a life in which we can all enjoy significant occasions together in safety is likely to be some way off.  Gradual easing of restrictions is definitely the desired direction of travel, but physical distancing and elevated hygiene measures will be with us for the foreseeable future.

We are delighted to report that Quaichshop has just supplied a number of engraved quaichs to a senior doctor, who wants to present them to his medical team, the members of which have been working in the front line against Covid-19.  It makes us feel proud to know that our quaichs will provide a permanent reminder of the appreciation shown to NHS personnel for their invaluable work in these stressful times.

As we noted in our April blog, internet shopping brings with it significant advantages at a time of social distancing.  Receiving a message of love from friends and relatives, with whom we cannot yet get together, takes on even greater significance.

We here at Quaichshop would like to help lighten the load, by arranging for for tokens of love and affection purchased from the quaichshop website to be delivered to your friends, relatives or colleagues. Just a reminder that our engraving service, including artwork, is available on our website, as normal.  Please do take a look at our full range of quaichs and other gifts at www.quaichshop.co.uk
